Massive Accident Involving 60 Vehicles in Austria
A huge pileup that happened today on a highway in western Austria has left one person dead and 30 injured according to the police. The collision that involved 60 vehicles occurred on the westward A1 autobahn between the towns of Seewalchen and St. Georgen. Although the police are unaware of what caused the accident, the highway was covered in snow at that time. According to reports from Austrian TV, it has been reported that some people were believed to be trapped in their vehicles with rescue efforts made difficult due to snowfall and wintry conditions.
