The top-of-the-range Cobalt is powered by GM’s 260 Hp turbocharged 2.0-iter Ecotec engine matted to a five-speed manual transmission. According to Chevy, the SS Coupe manages to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 5.7 seconds, while it hits the quarter-mile in 14.1 seconds. Its top speed is 160 mph – 257 km/h. Chevrolet’s Turbocharged Cobalt SS Coupe Priced at $22,995
General Motors has announced that its all-new Cobalt SS Coupe that’s expected to arrive in U.S. dealerships in late April will carry a MSRP of $22,995, including a $660 destination charge. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, premium sound system, remote keyless entry, StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, OnStar and XM Satellite Radio. Major options include an uplevel audio system ($295), sunroof ($750), high-wing rear spoiler ($195) and a limited-slip differential ($495).
