Nissan GT-R U.S. Orders To Start On January 1, 2008

Unfortunately, all the money I have stacked from working the past 13 years won’t even buy me a used Daewoo, let alone a brand-new 2008 Nissan GT-R. However, for all you Carscoop readers that are lucky enough to have $70k hidden (from your wife I presume) in their bank account, learn that Nissan will begin accepting orders for the GT-R on January 1, 2008. -Continued after the jump

Of course you’ll have to wait until June 2008 to get your hands on it, but since Nissan plans to bring the GT-R into the U.S. in quotas of just 1,500 a year, if we were you, we’d camp out of a Nissan dealership on New Years Day. As for me, lets hope 2008 is a better year overall. I don’t mind buying a GT-R in 2009 or 2010… Click here for details on U.S. pricing for the 2008 Nissan GT-R.
