Aston Martin To Build New Model Outside Britain
According to internal documents seen by the Financial Times, it is almost certain that Aston Martin will build a new model outside the UK for the first time in the company’s 93-year history. FT reports that a person close to one of the potential partners said Aston Martin will most likely choose the winning company in the next few weeks. Among the companies included in Aston Martin’s list are Italy ’s Pininfarina group; Magna of Austria; Germany ’s Karmann group; and Valmet, a Finnish group which builds the Boxster for Porsche.
