Nissan Releases Pricing for 2011 370Z Range

We just got our hands on the pricing for the 2011 model year Nissan 370Z range. The base 370Z Coupe starts at US$30,610, while US$37,520 will get you in the Roadster model. The more potent Nismo 370Z is priced at US$49,990. All MSRPs exclude destination and handling fees.

Being that the latest Z was only just introduced in 2009, changes for the 2011MY are limited to new color options and added content. More specifically, the 2011 370Z Coupe and Roadster with the 332-hp 3.7-liter V6 benefit from a new Gun Metallic finish and the addition of RearView Monitor to the optional Navigation Package. Enhancements for the 350HP 2011 Nismo 370Z are limited to one new exterior color, Gun Metallic.

Senner Tuning Presents Nissan 370Z Asphalt Surfer with 365 Ponies [+ Video]

Senner Tuning, probably best known for last year's disastrously named "White Power" RS6, has released pictures and details of its latest project car: the Nissan 370Z Asphalt Surfer.

The German tuning house has modified the 370Z with an ECU tune, sports air filter and cold air intake, boosting power to 365 hp (272 kw) and torque to 400 Nm. Twin 63.5 mm (2.5 inch) sports exhaust, door mirror caps / B-pillars capped in carbon fibre and black painting front / rear splitter round out the exterior package.

Senner has also added 20-inch Barracuda alloys by Tzunamee Racing, which are available in either white or black and wear 9x20" 245/35 R20 rubber at the front and either 10x20" 275/30 R20 or 11x20" with 285/30 R20 rubber at the back.

The interior modifications are more subtle, with carbon fibre added to the instrument barnacle and additional (dash top) gauges.

While you can build up your own 370Z Asphalt Surfer, Senner Tuning said it also offers completed examples of the car.

Peter Brock's Anniversary BRE Edition Nissan 370Z Revealed

AutoTrader Classics' Michael Boulton snagged the very first photos of the finished BRE Edition Nissan 370Z racer that was revealed on Thursday during the Brock Racing Enterprises reunion dinner honoring Peter Brock (not to be confused with the famous Australian racing driver who passed away in 2006) and crew.

Built to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Brock Racing Enterprises' (BRE) win at the SCCA National Championship at Road Atlanta with a 240Z in 1970, the specially modified Nismo 370Z racer features the classic vintage red, white, and blue BRE paint scheme.

The new BRE 370Z is not just a show car as it was built to current SCCA T2 racecar regulations and will see track duty later this year. Nissan said that it the car will also be on display at multiple 'Z Club' events around the country, including ZCon 2010, the annual Z convention, from July 28 to August 1 in Nashville.

Brock Racing Celebrates 40th Anniversary with New BRE 370Z

A little while back - forty years ago - Peter Brock's Brock Racing Enterprises won the SCCA National Championship at Road Atlanta with a 240Z driven by John Morton.

Now, on the 40th anniversary of the original win, BRE is celebrating the first official ass-kicking Japanese racer on American soil with a special new 370Z.

Based on the Nismo 370Z Coupe, it will be "built to current SCCA T2 racecar regulations and will see track duty later this year." It will also feature a distinct red, white, and blue BRE paint scheme.

The BRE 370Z is set to debut April 29 at the Classic Motorsports Mitty at Road Atlanta. If you can't get down there, the car will also be making appearances a Z Club events nationwide.

Tamon Design to Unveil Nissan RC370Z at Tokyo Auto Salon in January

The crew over from Japanese tuning house Tamon Design sent us these teaser sketches of their newest project car, the 2010 Nissan 370Z-based RC370Z, which is set to make its debut at the forthcoming Tokyo Auto Salon. Being a teaser and all, the company did not provide us with any specific details on the RC370Z, but the drawings suggest that the modded Z will benefit from a full body kit, new alloy wheels and tires, and quite possibly, a unique paint scheme.

Billed as the world's largest auto show with more than 600 vehicles on display and some 300 participating companies of all sorts, the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon will be held at the Makuhari Messe from January 15 to 17.

If all goes as planned, our man Phil will be covering the Japanese tuning show live, so stay tuned...
