The all-new 2008 Mercedes-Benz Estate has proven quite popular among European based tuners as following propositions from Brabus and Carlsson, Lorinser presented its version of the luxury station wagon. An upgrade is available for the C 200 Kompressor model that boosts the vehicle’s performance from 184 hp to 218 hp and torque from 250 Nm to 295 Nm. This added power is achieved by installing a modified engine control unit along with altered belt pulleys, drive belts and a different air filter. The C 350 with its V6 unit features modified camshafts increasing performance from 272 hp to 305 hp, while the torque jumps from 350 Nm to 380 Nm.

The diesel powered C 200 CDI’s output can be upgraded from 136 hp to 156 hp, which translates into a torque boost from 270 Nm to 360 Nm while the C 220 CDI’s standard performance is enhanced from 170 hp to 191 hp and 480 Nm of torque (standard: 400 Nm). The top of this line of upgraded Diesel vehicles is the C 320 CDI, which features a standard performance of 224 hp and a maximum torque of 510 Nm. Lorinser’s engineers managed to draw out 261 hp and 580 Nm from the V6 diesel unit.
